lincoln and levi's room

i loved getting their room ready for them.

the crib is the crib all my babies have slept in...from day 1! (NO bassinette in my room for me!)
i bought 6 frames from the thrift store for $10. spray painted them orange. and painted words/shapes to go in them. i hope to replace a couple of them with pictures from rwanda.

the pennant banners are from the surprise party this morning! PERFECT addition!

the tractor i painted when joshua was 2. the bedding was joshua's from when he was 2 until last year when we got bunk beds for him so that sawyer could move in eventually. the white dresser was given to me by a family at the school that i taught at when i was pregnant with rebekah. it had been used by their 3 daughters and they passed it onto us. it's been used for our 4 kids...and now for levi!
friend's gave us this dresser for lincoln recently. i LOVE it! it's so cool! the shelf above lincoln's dresser was made for me by ali when i was pregnant with rebekah. it doesn't need to be said that it means the world to me. the blue box on the dresser hold every card, note, etc that we've received during our adoption process these past 2 years. the frame on the white shelf has the note that rebekah wrote and left on levi's bed the other week...

i have 1 last thing that hasn't arrived yet that will go above levi's dresser...
i guess i spent about $15 total on their room. definitely different than having your first baby...but with JUST as much love!

and...this is part of the reason why! i had to move these suitcases to take these pictures that are FILLED with stuff for our family to travel many hours for 3 weeks to go get them. we are so excited!!!
